Coming up with a great wedding Colour is a very stressful part of any wedding. The colour scheme not only sets the tone for the wedding but the rest of your planning is also based on it.

Here are a few colour options you should try out...

Navy blue and pink
A perfect balance between a dark masculine colour and a pretty feminine colour — this combination is one of the many wedding colours to choose from. You can also have your guests sport this colour combo - as couples or singles! This colour has somewhat a preppy feel to it. You can have this colour as a simple centrepiece scheme with printed patterns or a small polka dot.

Lavender and sage
If you are getting married during the summer or the spring season, this is a perfect colour combo to choose. It will lend your wedding a garden like feel and is also touted to be one of the best colour options for a morning outdoor wedding. For the bouquets, you can include lilacs, or white amaryllis flowers or maybe actual sage to have everything colour coordinated for the wedding.

Red and orange
This colour combination is ideal for those who are looking at organising a rich, gaudy wedding. You can have the bride as well as the groom including the guests sport this colour combination. Apart from this, you can also use real red and orange leaves as a part of your table decorations. Those who choose to wear orange dresses would look absolutely adorable with red and white bouquets and you can also have a pop of red colour against your white table setting.

Maroon and pink
While it might not be the one of the first colour combinations that comes to your mind, but trying out two hues from the same colour family can be quite innovating. By combining these two colours — you can offset the darker maroon with the lighter and a more playful pink. Depending on which colour you prefer, you can also emphasise either the maroon or the pink and have accents of the other colour as the main colour scheme.

Maintaining Healthy And Beautiful Nails

Maintaining Healthy And Beautiful Nails

Nails highlight our hands and fingers if they are well maintained and clean. However, many women do not realize what an important part nails play in our daily life and affect our health. While clean and healthy nails not only add to our personality and looks, dirty, chipped and infected nails can also lead to various ailments and problems as we used the same hands to eat and care for our hygiene.

Thus, it becomes very important to keep our nails healthy and clean. Along with it, if we pay a little attention, we can increase the value of our hands and fingers by maintaining our nails so that they look beautiful and attractive.

Here are some tips and ideas on how to keep your nails healthy and beautiful:

  • In order to maintain healthy and beautiful nails, it is important to take in diet that is rich in vitamin A, calcium and phosphorus as it will prevent the nails from going dry and brittle. Foods rich in vitamin A include apricots, carrots, cheese and broccoli. It is essential to include milk, yogurt and almonds as they are very beneficial for nails.
  • Eating foods rich in proteins, folic acids and vitamin C will prevent hang nails that are small strips of skin that get separated from the cuticles. Eggs, fish, liver and beef are all very good for nail health and prevent dryness and darkening. A diet that is rich in fruits, vegetables and proteins will help to get beautiful and healthy nails.
  • Most of the infections in the nails or skin occur as a result of cuticles that removed the wrong way. The main purpose of the cuticles is to protect the nail bed from inflammation and infections and the right way to remove cuticles by first softening the cuticle either by shower or with help of some lotion and push them back to raise them for safe removal. In many cases, inexperienced beauticians who are not expert in manicure and pedicure pull or remove them forcefully which leads to infection, inflammation and torn skin.
  • Do not chew or bite your nails as it harms the nail tissue and also affects the shape and size of nails. The nail growth is affected and the skin bed surrounding the nail also gets affected if you constantly chew or bite them.
  • Gels, acrylics and stick-on badly affect the nails if they are used excessively. The best way to keep them healthy is to keep them natural. Use nail polish and other means to decorate them but occasionally as nails also need to breath and too much of artificial stuff hampers their health. Artificial nails contain chemicals and glue that can cause fungal infection to the nails and also seep through the nail plate and damage the bed.
  • Also avoid using nail polish removers that contain acetone or formaldehyde as they are not good for nail health and even skin. After using nail polish remover, wash your hands with soap and water to get rid of the dangerous chemicals.
  • Keep the nails short and clean as it is better to have nails that look good short and clean instead of dirty and broken nails. No matter how long your nails are they look bad and unhygienic if they are dirty and uneven.

Just like skin, nails also need hydration and moisture. Drink lots of water so that your skin remains supple and smooth and the nails look good. Keep the nails filed so that they look good and apply some lotion or cream before going to bed too to maintain healthy and beautiful nails.
